Intuitions, dinner conversation and workshops
Surrounded by shopping centres and discount stores, Neukölln’s former post office is located on one of the busiest shopping miles in Germany, and is clearly not suited for the needs of modern retail. Urban Catalyst workshop aimed to unlock the contrasting competencies of the participants, enabling activists to meet developers, agents to meet administrators and artists to meet advisers. The common denominator was an individual vision for the future of this building. Three usage scenarios were developed in the course of the workshop coupled with a strong belief that its imposing doors will soon be open to the public again.
